AFTER THE FORMER CANDIDATE’S OFFER

Both Samuel Doria Medina and Jorge “Tuto” Quiroga expressed separately on Monday their intention to meet with financial analyst Jaime Dunn, with the aim of incorporating his proposals into their government programs.

These announcements come after Dunn offered his National Program for Wealth Generation to “non-socialist” candidates, with the goal of dismantling the current system and embracing the ideas of liberty.

“I’m going to meet with Mr. Dunn to consider his proposals. I believe he has a number of very useful ideas that we are going to incorporate into our own proposal,” said Doria Medina in Sucre.

“We are seeking contact to be able to meet and talk with Jaime Dunn about how to carry out a program that guarantees Bolivia a different future—one of unrestricted and full freedom—and I believe he has much to contribute,” said Tuto Quiroga in Tarija.

Quiroga also highlighted Dunn’s “staunch defense of the principles of freedom” and the virtues of living with property rights, a small state, and an independent judiciary.

Dunn intended to run for president, but was disqualified after the Supreme Electoral Tribunal ruled that he had not submitted his fiscal solvency certificate in a timely manner.
