After the holiday excesses, it’s time to tackle a plan based on infusions to help eliminate the consumed fats.

During the holiday season, it’s common to enjoy culinary indulgences. Christmas and seasoned foods go hand in hand. The increased intake of sugars, fatty meats, and sausages will undoubtedly take its toll.

However, there are numerous infusions that can help regulate the digestive system after holiday overeating. In fact, a natural and warm infusion can be the best ally against mild gastrointestinal disorders, bloating, gas, or poor digestion.

Chamomile infusion to relieve heaviness
It is one of the most digestive plants. Chamomile has primarily anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties that help expel gas, soothe stomach pain, and reduce bloating.
Chamomile is also a calming plant, effective against nerves, insomnia, and anxiety.

Digestive mint infusion
A mint infusion can improve difficult digestion by eliminating flatulence, thanks to its carminative and antispasmodic properties. The digestive mint infusion can also neutralize acidity, alleviate discomfort by preventing vomiting, and even be effective against diarrhea.

Fennel infusion to reduce gas
Fennel is an excellent digestive tonic, as it increases gastrointestinal secretions. It is also carminative, aiding digestion by reducing bloating and helping decrease gas production. It is advisable to avoid it during pregnancy and lactation. As a tip, fennel digestive infusion is very effective when combined with anise and cumin.

Ginger infusion against reflux
This tonifying and anti-inflammatory plant can alleviate nausea and lack of appetite. Ginger also strengthens the esophageal valve and prevents reflux, as well as helping treat digestive disorders caused by insufficient gastric acid production. It should not be consumed if you suffer from gastritis or have a gastroduodenal ulcer.

Boldo infusion for fat digestion
Boldo helps prevent stomach heaviness and protects the liver and pancreas. It also facilitates fat digestion and strengthens the stomach mucosa. This plant has a diuretic effect, helping you eliminate liquids and detoxify your body.
