One of the most annoying obligations of daily life is paying bills. Whether it’s for electricity, internet, or gas, dedicating time to this task can be a hassle. To make this chore easier, the Bolivian developer Síntesis created “Mis Cuentas.”

The system is now available on the Apple Store and Google Play. It is designed to simplify service payments by allowing users to manage all their transactions from a single device.

One of the app’s most notable features is the Payment Cart, the first of its kind in Bolivia. This tool allows users to group different services or combine multiple bills from the same provider into one cart, enabling payment for all with a single click via a QR code, regardless of whether the user is in the country or abroad.

60 companies have established partnerships with Síntesis to facilitate the digital payment of their bills.

“Currently, services from more than 30 national companies can be paid,” explained one of the app’s technical assistants, who can be contacted at 62044700.

Its nationwide reach allows users to pay for basic services such as electricity, water, telecommunications, and more from companies like CRE, Saguapac, Tigo, Entel, Viva, and Itacamba, among others.

Meanwhile, Helen Medrano, Business Success Manager at Síntesis, stated during the program’s launch: “Mis Cuentas offers more than 60 active services and provides various payment methods, each simple and user-friendly. When paying for services, the app immediately confirms the transaction and sends the invoice to our email.”

The application offers at least five payment options, ranging from bank account deductions to mobile wallets like Yape and Tigo Money, as well as QR codes.

The application is not limited to functioning as a kind of mobile wallet but also serves to manage personal accounts used by users to channel their expenses.

Better Control
According to Síntesis staff, one of the advantages the application offers is the ability to better manage online all transactions made by the user.

In fact, one of the features accessible from the central screen is the transaction log. “Users can even activate a notification to alert them when a specific bill needs to be paid. The app identifies all payments made through it, making it easy to track,” added Roberto from technical support.

Another key advantage is security. The application is ISO 27001 certified, an international standard that defines requirements for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This system protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

The certification also provides a framework for information security, helping organizations identify and effectively manage their information security risks.

“We have a system of personalized codes that enhance security, ensuring that customers can trust that using one of the available payment systems won’t result in their phone or card being cloned,” said the staff.

Payment Options
The application is available for free download on Android and iOS systems. Once installed on a device, such as a phone or tablet, users must register their details: full name, email address, date of birth, identification document (e.g., ID card), and phone number.

Users must also create an additional personal numeric key that should not be shared with others. This key enhances security when accessing the app.

After registration, users can access the app on any of their devices where it is installed. According to the developers, the login criteria for Mis Cuentas include the phone number and password. To recover a password or re-register, the company sends SMS messages.

The service is continuous and unrestricted. Síntesis guarantees that users can manage their payments anytime and anywhere, even if they are outside the country.

For payments or purchases at physical locations, hours and availability vary based on the commercial and financial channels’ schedules. The app includes maps with locations and operating hours of affiliated companies.

Additionally, customers can choose their preferred payment method. Mis Cuentas supports multiple payment options, including Linkser, Red Enlace, Tigo Money, and simple QR codes.

Each transaction generates a receipt that is instantly sent via email and can also be viewed on one of the app’s screens.

In this way, users are expected to centralize all their routine expenses and, as much as possible, avoid service interruptions due to forgetfulness or lack of time.
