With joy and devotion, the 55 folkloric and indigenous fraternities arrived yesterday at the sanctuary of the Virgin of Amparo in the municipality of Sacaba. The folkloric parade, lasting until late at night, dazzled the faithful.

The mayor of Sacaba, Pedro Gutiérrez Vidaurre, highlighted the growth of the religious festivity and welcomed the visitors.

This Sunday, the central mass will be held, followed by performances by the fraternities; on Monday, there will be a pilgrimage to the calvary located in the Takoloma area.

The festivity of the Virgin of Amparo will conclude on Tuesday with the traditional kacharpaya or farewell.
