Bolivian Silva, the only Latina recognized in the U.S. for her leadership

She is the Director of the Emprender Futuro Foundation, which has trained over 15,000 entrepreneurs. The award was given to her as part of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.

The compatriot Allison Silva was not only the only Bolivian but also the only Latina to receive recognition for her leadership as part of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program in the United States.

She is the director of the Emprender Futuro Foundation, which has trained more than 15,000 Bolivian entrepreneurs and businesspeople since 2015.

Additionally, the Systems Engineer has promoted the training of over 960 young women in technology programs and has been part of the team for developing the ICT Mapping in Bolivia for the past six years.

“Emprender Futuro creates opportunities for more people to achieve business, professional, and personal success by training leaders in business and talented young people in technology prepared for the future,” explains the institution led by Silva.

Furthermore, under her leadership, the Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Program (PLEI) has been established, which currently has 13 Bolivian entrepreneurs as international fellows who have expanded their international vision to the United States, Mexico, France, and Colombia.

DISTINCTION

Allison was the only representative from all of Latin America in the U.S. international program that recognized her. This program offers an opportunity for professional and academic development for emerging leaders worldwide and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Bolivia.

The event brought together 12 senior professionals from a dozen different countries working in fields such as public policy, education, human rights, technology, health, and entrepreneurship. This group of leaders visited the states of Massachusetts, California, and Washington, D.C., over three weeks from September to October.

Allison underwent a transformative business and personal experience, with one of the highlights being her participation in the Executive Leadership Program at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) at Harvard University, one of the most prestigious institutions in business education.

CAREER

Allison Silva is the CEO and Co-founder of Eressea Solutions. She is the Executive Director of the Emprender Futuro Foundation and the founder of LinkSpace, an innovative educational platform. She is also the founding curator of Hub La Paz, Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum. Additionally, she is an IVLP fellow, a recipient of the GCL Impact Award from Georgetown University, and a fellow of the global Ashoka network.
