Authoritarian or dictatorial?
Are the MAS leaders and militancies authoritarian or dictatorial? This is asked by many when trying to define the MAS and its governments. Some say that we live in a dictatorship; others express that we are facing an authoritarian government, but that we have not yet reached a dictatorship. In any case, neither one nor the other asserts that we are living a democracy. However, there are those who affirm that we do live in a democracy, but of low quality. Is the MAS project democratic or rather authoritarian? To give an answer to this question, it is not necessary to do so with annoyance at the repressive excesses generated by the Morales government, nor at the repression that Arce is now leading against Santa Cruz. If it is done that way, with the anger against those repressive acts, the answer would be easy: authoritarianism or dictatorship. But, it is necessary to ponder more calmly and characterize the origin of the MAS, show the sources from which it draws. The MAS, although it paints itself as indigenous or indigenist, it is not, that outfit was put on in an interested and instrumental way at the end of the electoral campaign with which it obtained its first government. The ideology of the MAS does not have an indigenous source, rather, it comes from revolutionary unionism, from that which understands that the union form is the main one compared to the party form. Revolutionary trade unionism in the country’s political history is closely related to revolutionary nationalism.
The north, the utopia of this type of trade unionism was not and is not building democracy, much less representative democracy, its path is that of building socialism, call it socialism without a surname, or socialism of the 21st century, its search is aimed at building a dictatorship, that of the proletariat, they can qualify it by saying dictatorship of the people, of the poor, of the indigenous, but in the end, dictatorship. Their objective is not democracy, their political logic is that of friend-enemy, for them there are no adversaries, only enemies to destroy, annihilate, kill if necessary to achieve their objective. They do not believe in the plural party system, or in freedom of the press, or freedom of expression or thought. They take democracy instrumentally, if it helps them come to power -as the MAS did in 2005-, they use it, but then they deny it, they can resort to fraud like the one Morales did in 2019, they do it without blushing , because they believe that it is a tactic to approach absolute power, destroying or eliminating enemies along the way. This is how they did it in Porvenir, Pando. That is why they set up the hoax of the Hotel las Américas to corner, conceal or eliminate their regional enemies located in Santa Cruz. And with certainty, now, they are plotting hoaxes, or repressions of all kinds against Santa Cruz, because they want her on her knees to continue on their path, going from authoritarian to dictatorial government. If Santa Cruz wants a census in 2023, the government does not want a census in 2024 as a priority, what it wants now is to destroy the regional opposition of Santa Cruz to have the way open to consummate its dictatorial project -that of the socialism script-. That is the size of the problem that we Bolivians are experiencing. For that reason those who believe in democracy, in La Paz, Oruro, Potosí or another department, their duty is to support Santa Cruz to protect Bolivia from the dictatorial project of the MAS. Let’s clarify, it’s not just supporting Santa Cruz, it’s fighting for democracy that tries to be violated by the MAS, that’s why the pre-candidates Evo and Arce are now united in that project of annihilating enemies.
The technology to eliminate enemies of the MAS is clear, Morales used it in 2019 wanting to surround La Paz, preventing the entry of food, that act against humanity has gone unpunished, and today the method is repeated. The Evo-Arce alliance tries to replicate it by surrounding Santa Cruz, preventing the entry of food. Will the man who fled Bolivia in 2019, showing cowardice, go unpunished again? Let us Bolivians be clear that the project of the MAS is to seek socialism, that is, to build its dictatorship. Nothing more than now, in 2022, such a dictatorship would have the Chapare as its center, that is, drug trafficking. It is time for all Bolivians to defend democracy.
¿Autoritarios o dictatoriales?
Las dirigencias y militancias del MAS son autoritarias o dictatoriales? Esto se preguntan muchos al intentar definir al MAS y a sus gobiernos. Unos, dicen que vivimos en una dictadura; otros, expresan que estamos ante un gobierno autoritario, pero que aún no hemos llegado a una dictadura. En todo caso, ni unos ni otros aseveran que estamos viviendo una democracia. No obstante, hay quienes afirman que sí vivimos en una democracia, pero, de baja calidad. ¿El proyecto del MAS es democrático o más bien autoritario? Para dar una respuesta a esta interrogante no hay que hacerlo con la molestia por los excesos represivos que generó el gobierno de Morales, ni por la represión que ahora encabeza Arce contra Santa Cruz. Si se lo hace de ese modo, con la bronca contra esos actos represivos, la respuesta sería fácil: autoritarismo o dictadura. Pero, es preciso cavilar con más calma y caracterizar el origen del MAS, mostrar las fuentes de las cuales abreva. El MAS, aunque se pinte de indígena o indigenista, no lo es, ese atuendo se lo puso de manera interesada e instrumental al final de la campaña electoral con la cual obtuvo su primer gobierno. La ideología del MAS no tiene una fuente indígena, antes bien, proviene del sindicalismo revolucionario, de ése que entiende que la forma sindicato es la principal frente a la forma partido. El sindicalismo revolucionario en la historia política del país está íntimamente emparentada con el nacionalismo revolucionario.
El norte, la utopía de ese tipo de sindicalismo no fue ni es construir democracia, menos aún democracia representativa, su camino es el de la edificación del socialismo, llámese socialismo sin apellido, o socialismo del siglo XXI, su búsqueda está enfilada a construir una dictadura, la del proletariado, la pueden matizar diciendo dictadura del pueblo, de los pobres, de los indígenas, pero al fin de cuentas, dictadura. Su objetivo no es la democracia, su lógica política es la del amigo-enemigo, para ellos no hay adversarios, sino enemigos a los cuales destruir, aniquilar, matar si es necesario para conseguir su objetivo. No creen en el sistema plural de partidos, ni en la libertad de prensa ni libertad de expresión o de pensamiento. Toman a la democracia de manera instrumental, si les sirve para llegar al poder -como lo hizo el MAS en 2005-, la usan, pero, después la niegan, pueden acudir al fraude como el que hizo Morales en 2019, lo hacen sin sonrojarse, pues creen que es una táctica para acercarse al poder absoluto, destruyendo o eliminando enemigos en el trayecto. Así lo hicieron el Porvenir en Pando. Por eso montaron la patraña del Hotel las Américas para arrinconar, encelar o eliminar a sus enemigos regionales ubicados en Santa Cruz. Y con certeza, ahora, están maquinando patrañas, o represiones de todo tipo contra Santa Cruz, pues la quieren de rodillas para seguir en su camino, transitando de gobierno autoritario a dictatorial. Si Santa Cruz quiere censo en 2023, el gobierno no quiere censo en 2024 como prioridad, lo que desea ahora es destruir a la oposición regional de Santa Cruz para tener el camino abierto para consumar su proyecto dictatorial -ése del libreto del socialismo-. De ese tamaño es el problema que estamos viviendo los bolivianos. Por esa razón quienes creen en la democracia, en La Paz, Oruro, Potosí u otro departamento, su deber es apoyar a Santa Cruz para proteger a Bolivia del proyecto dictatorial del MAS. Aclaremos, no es solo apoyar a Santa Cruz, es luchar por la democracia que trata de ser conculcada por el MAS, por eso, ahora están unidos los precandidatos Evo y Arce en ese proyecto de aniquilar enemigos.
La tecnología de eliminar enemigos del MAS es clara, la usó Morales en 2019 queriendo cercar a la Paz, impidiendo el ingreso de alimentos, ese acto de lesa humanidad ha quedado sin castigo, y hoy el método se repite. La alianza Evo- Arce la trata de replicar cercando a Santa Cruz, impidiendo la entrada de alimentos. ¿Otra vez quedará impune ése que huyó de Bolivia en 2019 demostrando cobardía? Tengamos claro los bolivianos que el proyecto del MAS es buscar el socialismo, es decir, construir su dictadura. Nada más que ahora, en el 2022, tal dictadura tendría como centro el Chapare, es decir, el narcotráfico. Es hora de que todos los bolivianos defendamos la democracia.
