Añez condemned being innocent

We Bolivians live in a country that makes no sense since we have a failed state. Where the lie is State policy.

Former president Jeanine Añez was sentenced to 10 years in prison without having committed a crime. A scoundrel. She has been a victim of procedural fraud.

Her conviction has affected all Bolivians because they have condemned us to live under the wing of authoritarianism and democracy has become a utopia.

We Bolivians knew the sentence in advance, since the powers of the State are subject to the Movement for Socialism (MAS).

The current MAS government invented the narrative that the former constitutional president led a coup d’état (Coup II). This was to cover up the electoral fraud carried out by the masistas in 2019. There was never such a coup. She assumed the interim presidency legally and constitutionally. That was endorsed by the Legislative Assembly, the Constitutional Court and recognized by the community and international organizations.

She assumed the first magistracy after Morales fled to Mexico since those who preceded her resigned. Añez was not even in La Paz. They went to look for her in Beni. Nor did she know the military accused with her.

Let us remember that Bolivia was on the verge of a civil war. Evo Morales fled to Mexico and the presidential chair was left empty.

Añez has been unjustly and arbitrarily imprisoned for more than a year. She was detained preventively, depriving her of the right to defend herself in freedom, becoming the “war trophy” of the masistas.

Where has it been seen that the leader of a party, Evo Morales, confesses, without batting an eyelid, that he and his party decided to bring Añez to trial through the ordinary channels? An aberration. Is she entitled to a judgment of responsibilities as established by the Constitution?

This is confirmed in the report of the UN Special Rapporteur for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers, García Sayán, who established that the patterns of interference in the judicial body have not been eradicated.

The masistas want to set a precedent of rejecting coups. The worst coup has been the electoral fraud engineered by them in 2019.

And, as part of the farce, they have unfairly sentenced the military of the High Command.

Evo, upon escaping, believed that the Bolivians would call on him to save the country. None of that happened. All this has been an affront full of anger and misogyny to a woman who stood up for Bolivia.

They also want to prosecute the “intellectual authors” of the alleged coup. They are all their opponents. Among them are: Carlos Mesa, Jorge Quiroga, Samuel Doria Medina, Fernando Camacho, among others. This is a witch hunt.

Jeanine’s transitional government was not an example of management. Her mission was to call elections. But the pandemic struck and she was forced to put them off.

She was tainted by the respirator business and she made the mistake of running for president for whose campaign she used state money and assets. Shortly before the elections, she declined her candidacy.

The serious accusation made against her is the events in Sacaba and Senkata where 27 people died and many were injured.

Faced with the unjust conviction, Human Rights Watch (HRW) and the United Nations shared their observations on the process against Añez. They evidenced the lack of balance in the process, the criminal type and the time of preventive detention.

The international community must speak out about this injustice.

Añez condenada siendo inocente

Los bolivianos vivimos en un país que no hace sentido ya que tenemos un Estado fallido. Donde la mentira es una política de
Estado.

La ex presidenta Jeanine Añez fue condenada a 10 años de prisión sin haber cometido un delito. Una canallada. Ha sido víctima de un fraude
procesal.

Su condena ha afectado a todos los bolivianos porque nos han condenado a vivir bajo el ala del autoritarismo y la democracia se ha convertido en una utopía.

Los bolivianos sabíamos de antemano la sentencia, ya que los poderes del Estado están sometidos al Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS).

El gobierno masista actual, inventó la narrativa de que la ex presidenta constitucional propició un golpe de Estado (Golpe II). Esto fue para tapar el fraude electoral realizado por los masistas el 2019. Nunca hubo tal golpe. Ella asumió la presidencia interina de forma legal y constitucional. Aquella fue avalada por la Asamblea Legislativa, el Tribunal Constitucional y reconocida por la comunidad y los organismos internacionales.

Asumió la primera magistratura tras la huida de Morales a México ya que quienes le antecedían renunciaron. Añez ni siquiera estaba en La Paz. Fueron a buscarla al Beni. Tampoco conocía a los militares acusados con ella.

Recordemos que Bolivia estaba al borde de una guerra civil. Evo Morales huyó a México y el sillón presidencial quedó vacío.

Añez está injusta y arbitrariamente encarcelada hace más de un año. Se la detuvo de forma preventiva privándole el derecho a defenderse en libertad convirtiéndose en el “trofeo de guerra” de los masistas.

¿Dónde se ha visto que el líder de un partido Evo Morales confiese, sin que se le mueva un pelo, que él y su partido decidieron que se lleve a Añez a juicio a través de la vía ordinaria? Una aberración. A ella le corresponde un juicio de responsabilidades como establece la Constitución?

Esto se confirma en el informe del relator especial de la ONU para la Independencia de Jueces y Abogados, García Sayán, que estableció que los patrones de injerencia en el órgano judicial no han sido erradicados.

Los masistas quieren sentar un precedente de rechazo a los golpes. El peor golpe ha sido el fraude electoral maquinado por ellos el 2019.

Y, como parte de la farsa, han sentenciado injustamente a los militares del Alto Mando.

Evo, al escapar, creyó que los bolivianos lo llamarían para salvar al país. Nada de eso ocurrió. Todo esto ha sido una afrenta cargada de ira y misoginia a una mujer que puso la cara por
Bolivia.

También quieren enjuiciar a los “autores intelectuales” del supuesto golpe. Todos son sus opositores. Entre ellos están: Carlos Mesa, Jorge Quiroga, Samuel Doria Medina, Fernando Camacho, entre otros. Esta es una cacería de brujas.

El gobierno de transición de Jeanine no fue un ejemplo de gestión. Su misión era llamar a elecciones. Pero la pandemia atacó y se vio obligada a postergarlas.

Estuvo manchada por el negociado de los respiradores y cometió el error de postularse a la presidencia para cuya campaña utilizó dinero y bienes del Estado. Poco antes de las elecciones, declinó a su candidatura.

La grave acusación que se le hace, son los hechos de Sacaba y Senkata donde murieron 27 personas y muchos resultaron heridos.

Ante la injusta condena, Human Rights Watch (HRW) y la Naciones Unidas, compartieron las observaciones sobre el proceso contra Añez. Evidenciaron la falta de equilibrio en el proceso, el tipo penal
y el tiempo de detención preventiva.

La comunidad internacional debe pronunciarse en torno a esta injusticia.
