Civic Summit demands the release of political prisoners and an audit of the 2020 elections
Civics also announced that they will promote actions before the international criminal justice for the arrest of civic leaders
The “Summit for Justice and Freedom” held by the Bolivian civic committees in Potosí concluded.
The leaders of civic entities, representatives of Potosí social organizations and national legislators attended the convocation of the Potosi Civic Committee (Comcipo), five days after the arrest of its former president Marco Antonio Pumari.
The Civic Summit resolved to demand an end to the persecution and the immediate release of political prisoners, a reform of the judicial system and the Public Ministry, the recovery of democracy with a new electoral register and the renewal of members of the Electoral Courts.
In addition, the civics announced that they will promote and boost actions before the international criminal justice for the arrest of civic leaders and an audit of the electoral process of October 2020.

Los cívicos también anunciaron que impulsarán acciones ante la justicia penal internacional por la detención de líderes cívicos
Concluyó la “Cumbre por la Justicia y Libertad” celebrada por los comités cívicos de Bolivia en Potosí.
Los dirigentes de las entidades cívicas, representantes de organizaciones sociales de Potosí y legisladores nacionales asistieron a la convocatoria del Comité Cívico Potosinista (Comcipo), a cinco días de la detención de su expresidente Marco Antonio Pumari.
La Cumbre Cívica resolvió exigir el cese de la persecución y la liberación inmediata de presos políticos, una reforma del sistema judicial y el Ministerio Público, la recuperación de la democracia con un nuevo padrón electoral y la renovación de vocales de los Tribunales Electorales.
Además, los cívicos anunciaron que promoverán e impulsarán acciones ante la justicia penal internacional por la detención de líderes cívicos y una auditoría al proceso electoral de octubre de 2020.
