La estatal ABI publica un montaje fotográfico utilizado para desacreditar a Carvajal

La imagen trucada de la de representante de la Asamblea de Derechos Humanos fue difundida en las redes sociales de la agencia pública de noticias.

La estatal Agencia Boliviana de Informaciones (ABI) publicó este lunes una noticia en la que se cuestiona la labor de Amparo Carvajal al frente de la Asamblea Permanente de Derechos Humanos de Bolivia (Apdhb), al acompañar el texto con un montaje fotográfico que el fin de semana fue utilizado en las redes sociales para desacreditar a la activista.

“Representantes de derechos humanos aclaran que Amparo Carvajal actúa de forma individual y no a nombre de la Apdhb”, titula la noticia, que fue difundida en la página web de la agencia y en sus redes sociales junto a la imagen manipulada.

La misma muestra a Carvajal sentada en puertas del penal de Miraflores, con una sonrisa que fue pegada de otra imagen y, además, del expresidente Carlos Mesa, que es de igual manera un montaje fotográfico.

Esa imagen fue difundida el fin de semana desde varias cuentas en redes sociales, con el mensaje “Oye tomamos una foto así como que sufrimos por Jeanine”. Por ejemplo, desde la cuenta Amluz Ajhu se acompañó el mensaje con el texto: “Cuando no está la prensa, AMPARO CARVAJAL Y CARLOS MESA”.

The doctored image of the representative of the Human Rights Assembly was published on the social networks of the public news agency.

The state Bolivian Information Agency (ABI) published a news item on Monday in which the work of Amparo Carvajal at the head of the Permanent Assembly of Human Rights of Bolivia (Apdhb) is questioned, by accompanying the text with a photographic montage that the end week was used on social media to discredit the activist.

“Human rights representatives clarify that Amparo Carvajal acts individually and not on behalf of the Apdhb,” the news headlines, which was released on the agency’s website and on its social networks along with the manipulated image.

The same shows Carvajal sitting in the gates of the Miraflores prison, with a smile that was pasted from another image and, in addition, from former president Carlos Mesa, which is in the same way a photographic montage.

That image was broadcast over the weekend from various accounts on social networks, with the message “Hey, we took a photo just as we suffered for Jeanine.” For example, from the account Amluz Ajhu the message was accompanied with the text: “When the press is not there, AMPARO CARVAJAL AND CARLOS MESA.”

La imagen manipulada fue utilizada para desacreditar la vigilia que Carvajal hizo el sábado en puertas de la cárcel de mujeres de Miraflores, luego de haberse enterado que la expresidenta intentó quitarse la vida en un episodio de depresión.

El uso del montaje fotográfico en el medio estatal se produjo en momentos en que, desde varios frentes, el MAS y sus bases se estrellaron contra la presidenta de la Apdhb, Amparo Carvajal, quien convocó para este miércoles a una marcha para exigir que Añez pueda asumir su defensa en libertad.
