Un inventor gana el concurso Emprende Ideas en Pandemia
El paceño Sergio Reynaldo Alcázar ganó el primer premio del concurso Emprende Ideas en Pandemia, organizado por la Fundación Samuel Doria Medina. Obtuvo 30.000 bolivianos como capital semilla para desarrollar su proyecto emprendedor. Éste consiste en la venta de un proyector capaz de presentar una imagen interactiva en cualquier superficie, y que responde al movimiento de las manos. Con ello puede convertir cualquier pared en “inteligente”. El proyector es una invención de Alcázar y es posible manejarlo sin usar un control remoto, lo que lo hace ideal para la enseñanza.
“Sergio ha hecho un invento que puede competir internacionalmente. Permite múltiples usos y tiene un enorme potencial. Estoy seguro de que lo veremos crecer en el tiempo”, dijo Samuel Doria Medina, presidente de la Fundación organizadora del concurso, en el acto de premiación. Al mismo tiempo se entregaron otros siete premios en una ceremonia que se transmitió por radio y por redes sociales. Inicialmente, el concurso sólo contemplaba cinco premios, pero la calidad de las propuestas concursantes estimuló a la Fundación Doria Medida a entregar tres más.
El segundo premio de 20.000 bolivianos se lo llevó la cochabambina Paula Mejía Arze y su empresa de alimentos que sustituyen los carbohidratos por verduras. Doria Medina contó que Paula fabrica arroz de brócoli y de coliflor, que creó tallarines de calabacín y prepizzas de zanahoria, entre otros muchos productos de este tipo. Así logró adelgazar ella misma y crear un negocio con gran potencial.
El tercer premio de 10.000 bolivianos fue para Heriberto Marcaya, que reaccionó frente al cierre del barco turístico del que era capitán comprándolo y volviéndolo un hotel-restaurante.
Los ganadores del cuarto y quinto puesto fueron Romer Muñoz, David Apaza, Ariel Araníbar y Lucimar Castelo, con emprendimientos que convirtieron la pandemia en una oportunidad para reinventarse y seguir avanzando.
An inventor wins the Undertake Ideas in Pandemic contest
Sergio Reynaldo Alcázar from La Paz won the first prize in the Emprende Ideas en Pandemia contest, organized by the Samuel Doria Medina Foundation. He obtained 30,000 Bolivians as seed capital to develop his entrepreneurial project. The second prize of 20,000 Bolivians went to Paula Mejía Arze from Cochabamba and her food company that substitutes carbohydrates for vegetables. Doria Medina said that Paula makes broccoli and cauliflower rice, that she created zucchini noodles and carrot prepizzas, among many other products of this type. Thus she managed to lose weight herself and create a business with great potential.
The third prize of 10,000 Bolivians went to Heriberto Marcaya, who reacted to the closure of the tourist boat of which he was captain by buying it and turning it into a hotel-restaurant.
The fourth and fifth place winners were Romer Muñoz, David Apaza, Ariel Araníbar and Lucimar Castelo, with ventures that turned the pandemic into an opportunity to reinvent themselves and keep moving forward.
