The Toro Toro National Park, located in the department of Potosí, is reopening to visitors today (10/31/2020), after more than nine months of being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The authorization was granted by the Ministry of the Environment, through the National Service of Protected Areas (Sernap), and “in compliance with biosafety protocols.”

The report indicates that as of October 31, all tourists or officials will be able to enter the visiting areas once they present, at the checkpoints of this municipality, their certificate of not being a carrier of Covid-19.

The Toro Toro National Park is famous for its paleontological wealth (dinosaur tracks, fossils and others), geological formations and natural landscapes.

El Parque Nacional de Toro Toro, ubicado en el departamento de Potosí, se reabre hoy (31/10/2020) a los visitantes, después de más de nueve meses de estar cerrado por la pandemia del coronavirus.

La autorización fue conferida por el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, a través del Servicio Nacional de Áreas Protegidas (Sernap), y “en cumplimiento a los protocolos de bioseguridad”.

El informe indica que a partir de este 31 de octubre todo turista o funcionario podrá ingresar a las áreas de visita una vez que presente, en los puestos de control de este municipio, su certificado de no ser portador de Covid-19.

El Parque Nacional de Toro Toro es célebre por su riqueza paleontológica (huellas de dinosaurios, fósiles y otros), formaciones geológicas y paisajes naturales.
