Joliet Diocesan missions to the Sucre, Bolivia – Are you being called?
CREST HILL – The Office for Human Dignity – Partnership for Mission of the Diocese of Joliet (Illinois) announces the formation of medical, construction, and outreach teams to serve in Sucre, Bolivia. This mission will leave on April 22 and return on May 6, 2017.
Physicians needed include the following: general, plastic, ENT, orthopedic and pediatric surgeons. We also need anesthesiologists (MD’s or CRNA’s) as well as operating room nurses and recovery room nurses, as well as staff nurses, preferably Spanish speaking, to teach post-op care are being sought.
Pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, family practitioners, internists, ER doctors and Dentists are needed. We also need donations of surgical supplies.
We are also looking for men and women to assist local people in building homes and work in outreach programs for the poor. No special construction skills are necessary.
An information meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Oct 25 at the Blanchette Catholic Center, 16555 Weber Rd, Crest Hill.
