The meeting will have as venue the Catholic University of Bolivia and will have the support of the embassy of that European country and the Ministry of Cultures and Tourism of the South American nation.

The event was organized with the purpose of debating on promotion, valorization and development of tourism in Bolivia and the Andean region.

Denys Wibaux, ambassador of France, highlighted that Bolivia has an enormous tourism potential that should be better promoted worldwide, like the salt deposit of Uyuni, which he said has an extension similar to two French cities, Lake Titicaca, shared with Peru and the exuberant Amazonia.

Among the objectives of the meeting are to promote agreements among universities and schools and to create a space of exchange on sustainable tourism in Latin America.

Also, present the most representative experiences of the sector, promote advertising and sustainable marketing of the small and médium enterprises, among others.
