Bolivian government will NOT give incentives to the private sector! WTH!

El Diario reports:

There will be no incentives for the private sector in the country

• Executive rejected the application of investment inducements to this sector within the productive dialogue
• The Confederation of Private Entrepreneurs of Bolivia admitted “conflicting positions” in the dialogue with authorities of the Government
• The wage issue is considered by the private sector as a cross-cutting issue that affects the dialogue at the work-table groups

screen-shot-2016-09-12-at-12-17-02-pmThe Government, through the Minister of Economy, Luis Arce, under the productive dialogue, dismissed the granting of investment incentives in the private sector, whose representatives raised, among other demands, the regulation of the Investment Law, which continues without the additional provision.

The authority would have disqualified private entrepreneurs labeling them with adjectives out of place in one of the dialogue’s table. Meanwhile, the Confederation of Private Entrepreneurs of Bolivia admitted “conflicting positions” in the dialogue being conducted with the Government.

According to the president of the Confederation of Private Entrepreneurs of Bolivia, Ronald Nostas, there would be progress in the working groups on issues of production, exports and industry. The wage issue is considered by private as a cross-cutting issue that affects dialogue on all working-tables.
