El Diario reports:
Watercolorist creates drawing paper
The Cochabamba artist Jesus Florido makes a show of watercolors in the Hall Cecilio Guzman de Rojas [05/15/2015]. Unlike other artists he creates his own drawing paper which he called OdirolF which means his name read backwards. The idea that came to a need for lack of a role for watercolorists and high costs of French materials inspired Florido to start investigating eight years ago, but only four years ago, he found the perfect “recipe” for his creation. The OdirolF paper is rough, very similar to the French papers of great weight of 460 grams, can not be bend. Its texture makes greater absorption of watercolor pigment, therefore, are more vivid watercolors and even the shadows have more light.
For his resourcefulness I welcome Jesus Florido to The Hall of Bolivian Fame!
