GABRIELA PRUDENCIO CREATED “QUINUA COLADA”

Bolivian finalist in the cocktail contest Gabriela Prudencio, 24 years old, ranked among the five finalists in the international competition “Star Search for a cocktail”, organized by renowned international chef Jamie Oliver.

The young paceña went to the final round of the international competition with a cocktail prepared based on a food par excellence: quinoa.

The drink that Prudencio still allows her in the competition is named “Quinoa Colada.” Includes in its preparation, in addition to the Andean grain, strawberry, tangerine and rum.

James Trevor Jamie Oliver  is an English chef born in Essex, southeast county in the UK. Presented by the BBC became one of the most influential chefs in the UK.

His dishes are usually a mixture of Italian and Oriental cuisine, and herbs and spices have an important role, usually chili.

Oliver, a few months ago is in search of a new cocktails’ star around the world. The competition is down to five young and bright people, through online voting it will be decided who the winner is.
