Bolivian Judicial “elections” may be postponed if TIPNIS struggle continues

As a result of nationwide repudiation on how current government is handling the TIPNIS intended road construction, the judicial “elections” [in quotes as there is no opportunity to really elect as all those candidates have been pre-selected already by current political party in government] may be postponed if the TIPNIS protest-walk continues close to the October 16th date.

The President for the Supreme Electoral Tribune (TSE), Wilfredo Ovando reported to El Dia today; if the protest-walk group were to reach La Paz around the day of the election, the TSE will consider delay such election for a week or so.
