Around 280 indigenous people were captured by the police yesterday afternoon and night. They were forced to embark in buses and other vehicles. They were held captive in the Rurrenabaque airport, waiting for a military plane to arrive, a plane with a 40 seat capacity was there (indigenous people were going to be sent to an unknown location) and Rurrenabaque people mobilized, surrounded the airport and the police, and succeeded liberating those indigenous people who were in their 42nd day of protest.
Indigenous people were then taken to the main plaza where they received food and health care.
