The Bolivian government has decided to postpone the day light time savings, which was supposed to be in effect this September. There is no date for review/approval of this action.

Private entrepreneurs and other Bolivian actors are happy of this decision; many energy experts said this measure could not serve to save significant energy.

Remember that back in the mid 80s, Santa Cruz tried to shift one hour during summer time, and the action was not significant in terms of energy savings.
