💐 Happy Bolivian Women’s Day! 💜

Today, I want you to remember how much potential each one of you carries. You are intelligent, brave, capable, and full of ideas that can change the world. You are becoming women who will lead, create, challenge, and make a difference.

October 11 is celebrated in Bolivia in honor of Adela Zamudio, a Bolivian writer, teacher, and pioneer who fought for women’s education, equality, and rights. Her legacy reminds us that women have always had to be brave enough to challenge what others believed was possible for them.

And there is something I want you to remember as you grow into the women you are becoming: never underestimate the power of lifting another woman up.

You don’t have to be best friends with everyone, agree on everything, or be alike. But you can always choose kindness over judgment, support over competition, and understanding over superficiality. Celebrate each other’s achievements. Defend one another when it matters. Be the person who makes another girl feel seen, included, and valued rather than small or inadequate.

You are classmates today, but you are also young women learning to navigate a world that won’t always be kind to you. Don’t make it harder for one another. Be the kind of women who open doors for others instead of closing them.

Remember: another girl’s beauty doesn’t diminish yours, her success doesn’t threaten yours, and her light doesn’t make yours shine any less brightly. There is room for all of you to grow, succeed, and shine.

I hope you become not only strong women, but women who use their strength to empower others. Women who are remembered not just for what they achieve, but for how they make others feel.

With lots of love,

Miss SD 💜

💐 ¡Feliz Día de la Mujer Boliviana! 💜

Miss SD 💜
