Woman hits back after being slammed over ‘inappropriate’ school-run outfit
A woman has hit back after she was slammed for the outfit she donned while dropping off her young son at school in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
The lawyer and fitness model, known as ‘Vanesita (Vanesa) Medina’ on Facebook where she has 66,000 followers, went viral this week after another mother filmed her during the school drop-off.
Footage showed Vanesa helping her son get out of the car as she carries his backpack for him, wearing a skin-tight pink playsuit that showed off her fit physique and a cut-out neckline revealing her cleavage.
The other mother was shocked by her choice of attire, claiming in the video it was not the first time the lawyer had worn “inappropriate” outfits there.
Images of the fitness model, who previously won the Miss Fitness contest in Bolivia, then went viral on social media, with many other parents calling out the choice of attire.
However, despite the furore, Vanesa took to social media to shoot back at critics.
“I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who sent messages of support, signs of affection and appreciation with such beautiful words, and defending me on social media over that video that went viral with bad intentions against me that the mother took, wanting to denigrate me, exposing herself with such contempt towards me, and exposing my four-year-old son without knowing that is a crime,” she wrote.
“Her plans did not go as well as she wanted. She had the worst intentions by uploading it and exposing me, referring to me like that. But this post is not about that woman, it is to thank all those people who stood by my side.”
Vanesa added that she is a “Fit Mummy who works hard and I take care of my son with all the love in the world”.
“I don’t do anything bad to anyone. People who know me know I have a heart full of love and values.”

Una mujer respondió después de que la criticaron por el atuendo que se puso mientras dejaba a su hijo pequeño en la escuela en la ciudad boliviana de Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
La abogada y modelo de fitness, conocida como ‘Vanesita (Vanesa) Medina’ en Facebook, donde tiene 66.000 seguidores, se volvió viral esta semana luego de que otra madre la filmara durante la entrega de la escuela.
Las imágenes mostraban a Vanesa ayudando a su hijo a salir del auto mientras cargaba su mochila para él, vistiendo un conjunto rosa ceñido que mostraba su físico en forma y al frente recortado que revelaba su escote.
La otra madre se sorprendió por su elección de vestimenta y afirmó en el video que no era la primera vez que la abogada usaba atuendos “inapropiados” allí.
Las imágenes de la modelo de fitness, que anteriormente ganó el concurso Miss Fitness en Bolivia, luego se volvieron virales en las redes sociales, y muchos otros padres llamaron la atención sobre la elección de la vestimenta.
Sin embargo, a pesar del furor, Vanesa recurrió a las redes sociales para responder a las críticas.
“Quería expresar mi agradecimiento a todos los que enviaron mensajes de apoyo, muestras de cariño y agradecimiento con palabras tan lindas y defendiéndome en las redes sociales por ese video que se viralizó con malas intenciones en mi contra que tomó la madre queriendo denigrarme con tanto desprecio y exponer a mi hijo de cuatro años sin saber que es un delito”, escribió.

“Sus planes no salieron tan bien como ella quería. Tenía las peores intenciones al subirlo y exponerme, referirse a mí así. Pero esta publicación no es sobre esa mujer, es para agradecer a todas esas personas que estuvieron a mi lado.”
Vanesa agregó que es una “Mamá fit que trabaja duro y cuido a mi hijo con todo el amor del mundo”.
“Yo no le hago nada malo a nadie. Las personas que me conocen saben que tengo un corazón lleno de amor y valores.”
