Rematch – La revancha

The stupidity of the democratic forces of not having constituted a common front to prevent the return of the MAS to the government last year, has made it possible for the fraudulent and corrupt to regain command in the country, with the desire to take revenge on what they call an alleged “coup” that would have dislodged them from the long rule of power in Bolivia.

Now, due to the lack of unity of its adversaries, the MAS has proceeded to arbitrarily arrest former president Jeanine Áñez, two of her ministers from several who are being required by the “prosecutor,” and part of the military High Command and the Police that, as the masistas repeat, were the coup plotters in the days of October and November 2019. It must be taken into account that Luis Fernando Camacho, champion and inspirer of the escape of former president Morales from the Palace, is also in the sights of the Government and that he has already been summoned to testify before the prosecutors, as a witness, on two occasions, without having his statement taken. The purpose is to involve him in the nonexistent “coup” and try to question his broad triumph in the Santa Cruz Government.

If Mrs. Áñez has been arrested, accused of having caused the fall of Morales, we do not understand why the members of the Plurinational Constitutional Court who ratified Mrs. Áñez in the Presidency are not summoned by the Prosecutor’s Office, nor, above all, Ms. Eva Copa and the parliamentarians who remained in their seats without any shame during the entire tenure of the Transitory Government and approved laws jointly with the Executive, which, they now claim, was illegal.

All this that there was a coup and that a de facto government was constituted, is nothing more than a “distracting” action due to its poor electoral performance last Sunday, a pitiful lie to martyr themselves before the international community, when the truth is that everything occurred before the cowardly abandonment of power by Evo Morales, who was not only suggested to leave by the Armed Forces in the face of the prevailing chaos, but also by Conalcam, the Csutcb, the COB and part of the “social movements” that they backed him for 14 years.

The MAS wants to re-impose fear on the citizenry. That fear that he imposed in Santa Cruz, when he invented the cases of terrorism after the Masista officials themselves murdered the three people who were staying at the Las Américas hotel. Now they want to do the same, using the prosecutors and judges who obey them, because they feel indebted because the MAS appointed them in tricky judicial elections.

If we from Santa Cruz and Bolivians remain silent as in 2009, we can be sure that, one by one, without causing a greater scandal, they will be led to declare La Paz (another illegal and abominable act) and must comply with the deceptive preventive detention, which in our justice can last for years. We are at the gates of a vengeful offensive by Morales and his friends exiled and asylees in embassies who, running over the laws, have detained former president Jeanine Áñez and want to unleash their fury against his collaborators, the armed forces, the police, as well as against Camacho and the people who for 21 days made Morales flee from Bolivia publicly resigned.

La estupidez de las fuerzas democráticas de no haber constituido un frente común para evitar el retorno del MAS al gobierno el año pasado, ha hecho posible que los fraudulentos y corruptos recuperaran el mando en el país, con el deseo de vengarse de lo que ellos llaman un presunto “golpe de Estado” que los habría desalojado del largo dominio del poder en Bolivia.

Ahora, por la falta de unidad de sus adversarios, el MAS ha procedido a apresar arbitrariamente a la expresidente Jeanine Áñez, a dos de sus ministros de varios que están siendo requeridos por el “fiscalato”, y a parte del Alto Mando militar y de la Policía que, según repiten los masistas, fueron los golpistas en las jornadas de octubre y noviembre de 2019. Hay que tomar en cuenta que Luis Fernando Camacho, paladín e inspirador de la fuga del ex presidente Morales del Palacio, también está en la mira del Gobierno y que ya se lo ha convocado para declarar ante los fiscales, en calidad de testigo, en dos oportunidades, sin que le hayan tomado su declaración. El propósito es involucrarlo en el inexistente “golpe” y tratar de cuestionar su amplio triunfo en la Gobernación de Santa Cruz.

Si la señora Áñez ha sido detenida, acusada de haber propiciado la caída de Morales, no entendemos por qué no están citados por la Fiscalía los miembros del Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional que ratificaron a la señora Áñez en la Presidencia, ni, sobre todo, la señorita Eva Copa y los parlamentarios que se mantuvieron en sus curules sin ninguna vergüenza durante toda la gestión del Gobierno Transitorio y aprobaron leyes conjuntamente con el Ejecutivo, que, según afirman ahora, era ilegal.

Todo esto de que se produjo un golpe y de que se constituyó un gobierno de facto, no es otra cosa que una acción “distractiva” por su mal desempeño electoral del domingo pasado, un embuste lastimero para martirizarse ante la comunidad internacional, cuando lo cierto es que todo se produjo ante el cobarde abandono del poder de Evo Morales, a quien no solo le sugirieron irse las Fuerzas Armadas ante el caos reinante, sino también el Conalcam, la Csutcb, la COB y parte de los “movimientos sociales”, que lo respaldaron durante 14 años.

El MAS quiere volver a imponer el miedo a la ciudadanía. Ese miedo que impuso en Santa Cruz, cuando inventó los casos de terrorismo luego de que los propios funcionarios masistas asesinaron a las tres personas que se alojaban en el hotel Las Américas. Ahora quieren hacer lo mismo, utilizando a los fiscales y jueces que les obedecen, porque se sienten endeudados debido a que el MAS los designó en unas elecciones judiciales tramposas.

Si los cruceños y los bolivianos nos quedamos en silencio como el año 2009, podemos tener por seguro que, uno a uno, sin hacer mayor escándalo, irán siendo llevados a declarar a La Paz (otro acto ilegal y abominable) y deberán cumplir con la engañosa detención preventiva, que en nuestra justicia puede prolongarse por años. Estamos a las puertas de una ofensiva vengativa de Morales y sus amigos exilados y asilados en embajadas que, atropellando las leyes, tienen detenida a la ex presidente Jeanine Áñez y quieren desatar su furia contra sus colaboradores, las FFAA, la Policía, así como contra Camacho y el pueblo que durante 21 días hizo que Morales fugara de Bolivia renunciado públicamente.
