When evo lost the 21F referendum, he said it was because of a lie … well here are his lies!

Carlos Toranzo’s superb description of evo:

Day of the lie

It was a lie that he was going to defend the indigenous people, because he repressed them in Chaparina and his government violently takes the lands of the TIPNIS. It was a lie that I was going to make a development model respectful of the environment and respect for mother earth, because what he does is to promote extractive development, putting tractor into the natural parks to exploit oil and generate income for its customers, and expand the agricultural frontier that benefits the coca growers.

It was a lie that he was going to generate the new man and mark the public management for transparency, when in fact, corruption was swallowed up by YPFB, from Santos Ramírez; destroyed the Indigenous Fund, ate up the Union Bank. It was a lie that their social movements were the moral reserve of humanity, when they are sunk to the neck in the waters of corruption.

It was a lie that he was a good father, because through judgment he had to recognize his children; it was a lie that he paid pensions to his children, since only by trial was forced to disburse these pensions. It was a lie when he said “familiar face”, knowing that Mrs. Zapata was his partner for years. It was a lie that he took care of the son he supposedly had with that lady, it was a lie that took care of the child’s illnesses, because he did not know him, it was a lie that that lady became a millionaire under the influence peddling and abuse of power, it was a lie that he had the son registered in the civil registry office. They were lies the defenses of his vice and his ministers when they said in chorus that he was a good father and that he took extreme care of the son he had with Mrs. Zapata.

His austerity speech was a lie when he walks with five or six armored cars taking care of him, with dozens of policemen protecting him. Of what? When he travels in the city by helicopter and party and toast at Carnival, when thousands of people are flooding.

It was a lie that he was a simple man when he pushed for a museum dedicated to him in Orinoca to be filled with trifles. It was a lie that he is a mature man, when his childhood complex is perceived to be spent playing soccer, believing himself as an Etcheverry, wearing the number 10 of the Bolivian National Team and forcing Bolivian television to completely broadcast live his games, and the obsequious ministers say that his rating goes down when his little soccer games are not transmitted.

It was a lie that he was respectful of women when he said without blushing that he was going to retire to his chaco with his fiteen year old girl. It was a lie that the coca growers brought him young people to flatter him without him getting upset. It was a lie that he was not misogynist, when he happily accepted the chauvinistic coplas of his obsequious ministers, boasting of saying in a double sense that “Evo fulfills”.

It was a lie that the second was a graduate, it was a lie that he was responsible when he did not give full account of the monies assaulted at the UMSS.

It was a lie when he said that he would fight against the narco and, in fact, what he did is almost double the hectares of coca grown. It was a lie when he said that it would be hard against the narco and, nevertheless, the Terán clan was acquitted of guilt, not only of the police killing, but of having been found in flagrante with many kilos of cocaine.

It was a lie that he would defend human rights when a massacre was made in the Hotel las Américas and they unleashed the massacre in El Porvenir, Pando. It was a lie that he would defend those human rights when cooperative miners were killed and until now there are no guilty parties. It was a lie that defended the freedom of the press when in fact independent media do not receive official notice. It was a lie that he would defend human rights when he appoints an Ombudsman who performs like a deputy minister of the Ministry of Government.

It was a lie that he had a word of honor, because he pledged his word to approve the new Constitution and he affirmed that he would not be a candidate, and in violation of the transitory article of the Constitution he was. It was a lie that he would respect his word in the referendum on February 21, 2016, when he said he would go home if the No won; and now, unconstitutionally, with a domesticated Constitutional Court, he was made to be an eternal candidate for the Presidency unconstitutionally.

It was a lie that he was a democrat when he runs an authoritarian government that wants to eternalize in power.
