Extreme poverty remained stagnant while evo wasted over $240 billion dollars!

Bolivian Thoughts opinion: Over the last twelve years, Bolivia lived under a mirage … the best economic times ever, under the worst and inept government ever!

The mirage consisted also with all the cash that came into our country in the form of: remittances from Bolivian people forced to leave as there was NO jobs here; narcotrafficking with money laundering; and smuggling profits who also killed our industries and formal economy,

Masista wastage confirmed! As they are campaigning now, they want to butter up their inefficiency … now they will increase public spending with loans for more white elephants and continue charging bribes!

ANF reports via EnlacesBolivia.net:

Minister recognizes the resurgence of extreme poverty in the country

The Minister of Planning, Mariana Prado, said that the government saw a resurgence of extreme poverty in some pockets of the population, so it will be necessary to focus on social policies.

The Minister of Planning, Mariana Prado, said that the government saw a resurgence of extreme poverty in some pockets of the population, so it will be necessary to focus on social policies.

“There were some resurgences (of extreme poverty) in the urban area, of people who are migrating to the cities and who are having problems to get work and, therefore, income, as well as women who are in very remote places and who are not able to cash their Juana Azurduy bonus or the boys who are not able to get to school, so it is necessary to focus on social policies,” she told ANF.

In the government period of Evo Morales, extreme poverty was reduced from 38 to 17.8%, an achievement highlighted by international organizations. However, the figure did not end up convincing some sectors that observe that in 12 years the Government administered 240 billion dollars, that is, an economic bonanza never lived in the country.

Prado pointed out that there were widespread policies that improved the living conditions of all Bolivians.

Although “there are much more vulnerable sectors, (for that reason) the task of the President who gave us during his year report was to identify where those pockets are,” she explained.
