Student at physics international event
Javier Muguértegui will be the only Bolivian student who will participate in the “47th International Physics Olympiad IPHO 2016” from July 11 to 17 in Zurich-Switzerland. This student won the gold medal at the 5th Scientific Student Olympiad; after a qualifying between 13 medalists in the Physical area, Javier affirmed his position and academic performance.
The Bolivian delegation made up of the student Muguértegui and his tutor Ing. Marko Andrade have the support of the Ministry of Education which assumes coverage of their travel costs for participation in the event and for several months the Academic Scientific Committee and careers Physics of the University of San Simon (Cochabamba) and San Andres (La Paz) are in charge of the preparation and counseling of the Olympian.
Bolivia will compete for the prized awards against 88 countries worldwide, according to statements by one of those responsible for the training of Bolivian Olympian Ing Marko Andrade. “… by the characteristics of the event every year more preparation is required, which allows advisers to also have to be updated constantly, to perform a good representation.”
