Government extends winter time in schools of La Paz, Oruro and Potosi
Education Minister Roberto Aguilar, reported this Sunday that it was resolved to extend the hours of winter entrance to educational establishments in the departments of Potosi, Oruro and La Paz, due to low temperatures.
He explained that the measure is applicable for students at the primary level, which since Monday must pass classes from 0900 and pre-school from 10.00.
“It is applied in early childhood education and primary education and means that the schedule is extended half an hour (…) and remains unchanged for high-school throughout the country in the normal way,” said the government official.
Aguilar ratified the start of the holiday from July 4th nationwide except Tarija to enter into a pedagogical break a week later.
