On the World Day of Press Freedom, the ANP alert the Bolivian media are the target of sanctions based on electoral rules that infringe the CPE [Constitution] itself, and laws such as the Law Against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination. The organization adheres to the terms of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, General Director of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, which provide fundamental character on the freedoms of speech and press for good governance and the rule of law. / ANP–de-persecuciones-&cat=148&pla=3&id_articulo=170841

Coca-grower leader has relentlessly pushed to gain total control in Bolivia, press has been under severe restrain by a number of actions, this central government poses a serious threat to democracy in Bolivia, enough!
