Bolivian Aerocon’s SURVIVOR Minor Vidal Huerta whereabouts

Minor Vidal Huerta is back home, he arrived in Cochabamba and was taken to Los Olivos Health Clinic on Saturday afternoon; as you can see the graph from La Razon today, there is a detail of his injuries.

Medics reported that fly larvae were taken out of the wound in Minor’s face. He will remain in that clinic for the next two to three days.

Vidal was missing for 61 hours, was rescued on Friday 9th (plane crash was on Tuesday 6th); during that time he walked around 800 meters from the crash [that distances seems little; no one knows if that was a straight line walk or not, I dare anyone to walk after a crash in dense vegetation, hot, humid, injured, no food, no water and see how far you can go].

Minor had four broken ribs, in the back on his left side and also in his omoplate on the same side. Both injuries did not require procedures “they will heal on their own in the following days.”

Right after the crash, he recalls some of the eight other plane occupants, yelling and some talk. He is said to have shouted to ask them to be calm, the next morning he found himself alone; took him a while to abandon the plane as he as trapped.

Vidal’s main treasure was a small plastic bottle where he would save some water initially and later had to drink his own urine to fight thirst; he buried the bottle to cool down the urine; later on he also used the bottle to filter some water he found. At the Clinic, they reported him dehydrated.
