URGENT: TIPNIS’ leaders have been arrested by Bolivian police!
Pagina Siete reports in its website: early this afternoon (9/25/11), police in light vehicles took a number of the TIPNIS leaders. Police threw tear gas and a number of indigenous people were arrested, among others, Celso Padilla and Fernando Vargas.
