World Bank lowers Bolivia’s growth expectations

El Deber reports:

In January 2019, the international agency projected a growth of 4.3%, yesterday reduced it to 4%

Deceleration is a problem that has not been overcome

The World Bank (WB) decreased, in its latest report, the projection of growth for Bolivia in 2019. In January, it had foreseen an expansion of 4.3% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), in the middle of an unfavorable international context, but yesterday reduced it to 4%. In addition, it foresees a drop in GDP to 3.6% by 2020.

The WB expects the region to grow 0.9% in 2019 (excluding Venezuela, growth in 2018 was 1.4% and would be 1.9% in 2019). The three largest economies-Brazil, Mexico and Argentina-are expected to grow very little or contract, while Venezuela’s GDP would drop an additional 25% this year.–20190404-7086.html

Bolivian Thoughts opinion: Given the relentless, irrational desire of the coca grower caudillo to remain in government, no matter what, is that we are already in recession.

evo has wasted over $180 billion dollars, has made narcotrafficking, public office corruption, smuggling, money laundering bloom over the last 14 years.

When he became president he did not only received the loan forgiveness from the international donor community but also our exports experienced the highest international prices ever!

Bolivian people live under a mirage, easy money flows in or streets and we do not realize we are importing most our food, thousand of companies went bankrupt and not a single solid investment came to country, not a single sustainable job was created.

evo as coca grower leader and as a delusional maniac with leftist “ideologies” needs to abandon office by the end of this year. We must stop him to become a Chavez/Maduro/Castro dictator!

We need to rebuild our Republic, we need to reinstate our democratic liberties.
