Most of the world believes that Bolivia is a highland country, photos of our people living in mountains are mostly known, when in fact most of our territory is in the lowlands, in the Amazon basin, in the dry forest and Chaco region… for today we will just focus on our beautiful high mountains which many of you would like to climb, here is how:

Ascents by the hand of Andean Circuit

2013-11-10 09.27.16 amMountaineering is one of the extreme sports that not only demands the use of technical equipment for the rise, but also advice from specialized mountain guides, which ensure the safety of the climbers.

Under that premise, and two years ago, the Agency’s Andean tourism circuit was established, which organizes daily trips to all the snow-capped mountains of Bolivia, with special packages for local and foreign clients.

In addition, in the middle of this year the Agency inaugurated a refuge House of guides, which has a kitchen, a dining room and two rooms with capacity for 30 people. The House was built with walls of Board and roof of polycarbonate at 5,400 meters above sea level.

“The objective is to offer comfort, with cots, mattresses and utensils at your disposal. In addition, we have expert mountain guides that guarantee the safety of tourists,”says Vidal Condori, one of the guides.

Even though they have more outputs in high season (from May to September), it is also possible to carry out promotions throughout the year.
