Argentinian Jewish community accuses Bolivian president for having invited and then let go, Iran’s minister of defense Ahmad Vahidi. The President for the Jewish Community (AMIA), Guillermo Borger demanded more action to the Argentinian President Cristina Fernández, as 17 years from the terrorist attack passed by and still there is no justice; Borger also said that what Bolivian president did, is a “provocation”.
Sergio Burstein, who represents the families of the victims said: “shaking the hand of Vahidi, tainted with the blood of 85 people. Saying he did not know who Vahidi was is unacceptable”. He also questioned the “flirting” of the Bolivian president with Iran, whose president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, “is the new Hitler” who “wants to end with the jews”.
